SIGNING OFF Getting infected by the Limousin genetics bug back in 1985, Donna and I have ever since been actively involved in raising our 5 children by instilling in them the core values essential to living in a free sovereign nation under God, with the backdrop of Limousin cattle.

For the past 6 years, I have had a wonderful time assisting our great organization of like-minded Limousin cattle enthusiasts as your MLBA Secretary.  Over the years, I have developed many close friends who would give the shirt off their back to a neighbor in need.  Remember that each member contributes different talents, or gifts to the success of our organization and industry, whether that is involvement in shows, monetary support, time at shows, promotion, or raising good genetics. Your current MLBA leadership is as good as any team of professionals I’ve been associated with, and I would go into combat with them any time they call.

The current high MLBA membership is a testament to the people involved, and the quality of the Limousin cattle, especially as we trudge through the current muddy barn lots of our nation’s current struggles.  One thing for sure as Limousin cattlemen, “We all know the value of good chore boots to successfully complete our tasks in a stinky, sloppy environment”.  The quality of the 5 nominees to be added to our MLBA Board reflects the depth of expertise in our organization.  It is essential we continue to cultivate those new leaders and infuse their skills and synergistic values into one of the top Limousin Associations within the NALF umbrella. Don’t ever lose sight of the fact that ours is primarily a people business riding on Limousin cattle as the vehicle.

Our family will continue to develop Limousin genetics on our farms as long as the Lord grants us the opportunity to do so.  We are now well into our 2nd generation of Limousin cattle family farms, and our 3rd generation started showing Limousin cattle in 2019. Never cease praying for our nation and its leaders as we face increasing hostility from many opponents of those liberties and freedoms defined in our US Constitution and Bill of Rights.  “To be born free is a privilege.  To die free is an awesome responsibility.”  (author unknown)

God Bless!
